As much as our society craves quick fixes, the truth is that people who are in great shape most likely got that way, not in one week, not in one month, but after years of making exercise a habit. Like a drop of water eroding rock into curvy canyons, exercise acts much the same way. A little bit, time and again, over the years, chiseling your body into the shape you’ve always desired.
Like anything worth having, long term results come from consistent effort. A solid marriage is built over 20 or more years of faithfulness, attention, and commitment. Wealth grows from regular investing. And a healthy body is created from consistent exercise – not in marathon bouts, but regular sessions several times a week.

Taking Care of Yourself

It’s interesting that the people who are the most nurturing – mothers, nurses, teachers, etc. – are often the ones who have the most trouble taking care of themselves. I’ve seen it time and again as a fitness professional – those who are busy taking care of everyone else generally put themselves at the bottom of the list.

Getting Granbury Fit

Granbury is in a state of dis-ease. Not unlike the rest of the country, we are growing fatter, sicker, and living a lesser quality of life than generations past. We are over-medicated and never healed, constantly busy yet we barely move, overfed but undernourished. We’re not yet terminally toxic, but we don’t live in a state of wellbeing either. Look at those around you at the next parade, football game, or trip through the grocery store, and you’ll see what I mean.
